Day 11 - Reykjahlíð to Möðrudalur: 71.1km

My knee still feels wobbly to walk on, but it's not too bad when pedaling. As long as it doesn't get worse, I'll keep riding until it makes sense to stop. I can't tell right now if it will be better tomorrow, or swell up like a balloon, but it felt okay while riding.

My destination was Campground Fjalladyrd/Mödrudalur. It's apparently the highest settlement in the country.

There's a goat wandering the restaurant

It looks like rain again tomorrow, so I'll play it by ear, depending on the temperature and wind.

I don't think it's reasonable to expect to make it all the way around Iceland in this condition, but I'll do my best to see as much of it as I can before I need to cave in and take the bus back to Reykjavik. If nothing else, riding today was well worth the effort just so my last memory from this trip won't be of me stuck freezing in my tent for a day and half.
